Caring for your glitter tattoo
- Your GlimmerWorks tattoo is 100% toxic free and hypoallergenic.
- It can last for 3 to 7 days depending on how you take care of it.
- While your tattoo is waterproof, it gets weaker when subjected to prolonged time in the water (e.g. while swimming or taking a bath). So after such activities, just pat dry your glitter tattoo. Do not scrub or scratch it with a towel or your hands.
- When taking a bath, feel free to soap your tattoo – just don’t scrub vigorously.
- Never apply alcohol-based oil, sunblock or lotion in the area of your glitter tattoo UNLESS you want to remove it. Don’t worry about not being protected from the sun because your tattoo, once its applied to your skin, becomes its natural sunblock. (And you just might get a funky tan line!)
- To remove your tattoo, just use lotion or any oil-based product.
